Associate professor and librarian Susan Montgomery has been appointed as the assistant editor for scholarly submissions at Weave: A Journal Of Library User Experience. This peer-reviewed, open access, web-based publication features articles on user experience (UX) for librarians and professionals in related fields.

User experience plays a critical role within libraries of all kinds, and user experience librarians and teams have become commonplace since Weave’s inception in 2014. Weave is a comprehensive, rigorous publication for library UX professionals to share with and learn from their colleagues.

Montgomery previous served on the board for Weave before stepping into an editorial role.
