Andrea Schaumann, associate director of admission for Rollins’ Hamilton Holt School, recently received the 2019 UPCEA South Region Outstanding Service to Continuing Education award for the second consecutive year.
With its Outstanding Service to Continuing Education award, the University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA) recognizes an individual with 10 or more years of service in a university continuing-education unit who is or has been a staff member of a UPCEA South institution during the past two years. Criteria for consideration include substantial contribution to the development and maintenance of the institution and UPCEA South and demonstrated service that has been recognized and valued by both the institution and UPCEA South.
UPCEA is the leading association for professional, continuing, and online education and brings together leaders and professionals who are devoted to their field. Founded in 1915, UPCEA now serves most of the top public and private colleges and universities in North America, serving its members with innovative conferences and seminars, research and benchmarking information, professional networking opportunities, and timely publications.
Schaumann will receive the award at the upcoming South Region Conference, where she’ll have the opportunity to expand her knowledge, increase connectivity, and hear from dynamic speakers. A time to celebrate the accomplishments of peers, observe the results of growing partnerships, and appreciate the hard work of dedicated volunteers, the conference takes place October 14-16 in Orlando.
