Otto ’05 receives national recognition for work at OCPS

Neil Otto ’05—who works as a human resources administrator and recruiter for Orange County Public Schools—was recently recognized as the recipient of the American Association of Employment in Education’s (AAEE) 2019 Innovative Program/Practices Award and the American Association of School Personnel Administrators’ (AASPA) 2019 Human Resources Specialist/Support Staff Award.

The AAEE award honors individuals for developing new programs or professional practices for career centers or education human resources offices. The award’s objective is to encourage innovative ideas and to share them within the profession. 

The AASPA award is given to an individual whose contributions have had a significant impact on the efficiency of the human resources office and to the field of human resources. Nominess have distinguished themselves through leadership at the local, state/province, national, and/or international level and serve as collaborative, contributing participants in personnel functions and/or programs.
