McCoy honored by Southern Association for College Admission Counseling

Zaire McCoy, dean of admission and associate vice president for enrollment, recently won the William Starling Award from the Southern Association for College Admission Counseling. The award recognizes outstanding mentoring in the admissions profession and is named in honor of the longtime dean of admissions and financial planning at Wake Forest University who always inspired rather than demanded quality.

The Southern Association for College Admission Counseling is a nonprofit professional association founded in 1966 as a chartered affiliate of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC). Approximately 1,700 members from secondary schools, colleges and universities, and educational consulting firms across the southern states and the Caribbean work to promote high professional standards in the college admission process by exchanging ideas, sharing common goals, and preparing counselors to serve students in the transition from high school to college.
