Rollins alumnus Declan Link ’89, who also serves as assistant soccer coach for the Tars, has been named among the inductees for the 2016 Sunshine State Conference Hall of Fame.
Link was an All-American forward for the Tars and put together one of the most illustrious careers in program history. In his first season, he set a school record with 16 goals and 37 total points. He was named Second Team All-America in 1989 and was a three-time All-South Region and All-Sunshine State Conference selection. He was a two-time All-State selection, including a trip to the Florida State All-Star game alongside the top Division I stars in 1989.
Link was inducted into the Rollins College Sports Hall of Fame in 2000.
