DiResta ’77 and Mason perform song to benefit Palm Beach Symphony

One talented Rollins graduate is expressing his love of the arts through a new video collaboration in support of the Palm Beach Symphony. Anthony DiResta ’77 and his partner Terrance Mason took to their living room to perform a cover of the jazz standard “Misty,” a song made popular in the 1950s by the likes of Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra. The video features DiResta, a classically trained pianist, accompanying Mason, a former vocalist for the Grammy Award-winning hip-hop group Arrested Development. The performance was released on YouTube as part of the Palm Beach Symphony’s series Live! From Your Living Room, which seeks to build community engagement as the organization remains closed due to COVID-19.

DiResta is no stranger to giving back. He regularly serves as a mentor to Rollins pre-law students and supports the next generation of Tars through his generosity and inclusion in the Benefactors’ Circle of the Fiat Lux Society. He is a partner in Holland & Knight's Washington, D.C. office and serves as a director of the Rollins Alumni Board.
