Sinclair publishes book on popular fictional characters

Executive Director and Scholar-in-Residence for the Winter Park Institute Gail Sinclair has co-authored a Rowman & Littlefield publication, The 100 Greatest Literary Characters. From Hester Prynne to Harry Potter, the book profiles many of fiction’s most memorable characters. Sinclair, along with co-authors James Plath and Kirk Curnutt, explores the ways the greatest characters from fiction help readers comprehend history, culture, politics, and even their own place in today’s world.

Sinclair is an American literature specialist whose publications and teaching focus on writers of the 20th century.
