This month, Ena Heller, the Bruce A. Beal Director of the Cornell Fine Arts Museum (CFAM), was named one of Orlando Magazine’s 50 Most Powerful People.
Orlando Magazine’s annual list includes politicians, entrepreneurs, educators, artists, and philanthropists who are seen as major influencers in the community. Heller is listed among influencers of entertainment and the arts and profiled under the headline “The Fine Art of Renewal.”
Writer Michael McLeod noted the user-friendly changes Heller has made to CFAM in the three years since her arrival, including the move to make museum admission free and her work with the Alfond Collection of Contemporary Art. McLeod also notes her strategic addition of curator Amy Galpin, who works to bring progressive exhibitions to Rollins.
