Greenberg Attends Interfaith Dialogue in Jerusalem

On September 11–14, George and Harriet Cornell Professor of Religion Yudit Greenberg participated in an interfaith dialog with a group of Asian faith leaders in Jerusalem. The meeting promoted understanding and acceptance of religious diversity. Participants included Asian delegates and leaders representing Buddhism, Hinduism, Sikhism, Jainism, Zoroastrianism, and Daoism and they hailed from China, Taiwan, South Korea, Myanmar, Japan, and India.

Greenberg, who is completing an edited volume, Dharma and Halachch: Hindu and Jewish Comparative Philosophy and Religion, was among a small group of scholars of religion invited to contribute to the interreligious event.
