English professor Carol Frost has been inducted as a chancellor of the Florida State Poets Association (FSPA). Poets honored as chancellors have achieved a high level of recognition within the state of Florida for both their literary accomplishments and service to their communities. FSPA chancellors offer guidance to FSPA leadership and its members, helping to forward the organization’s mission through education, programs, and member interaction.
Now in its fourth decade, the Florida State Poets Association carries the mission of promoting the art of poetry, the teaching of poetry, and supporting the work of poets in the state. Frost is the author of numerous collections, including the forthcoming collection entitled Alias City.
