Business professor Josephine Balzac has been named a 2017-18 Algernon Sydney Sullivan Foundation Faculty Fellow. The fellowship supports faculty who are committed to incorporating social innovation and entrepreneurship into their classrooms and communities.
During the yearlong fellowship, Balzac will develop a project connecting her expertise to a Rollins’ campus need in the area of social innovation and entrepreneurship.
Balzac, a visiting assistant professor of business, teaches courses in business law and business and sustainability. This fall, she will teach course in environmental changemaking and social entrepreneurship.
An environmental lawyer, Balzac is president of the Law Office of Josephine Balzac, P.A., where she consults businesses on the implications of international environmental, health, and safety regulations.
