The Center for Lifelong Learning begins expansion with certification programs.
Rollins College is expanding its Center for Lifelong Learning by offering a new professional program: the paralegal studies certificate. The objective of this expansion is to provide Orlando-area professionals the opportunity to advance or improve their careers with affordable continuing education and career training options.
The Rollins Paralegal Studies Certificate is a six-month, noncredit program intended to give professionals the opportunity to explore a new career in this growing occupation or significantly improve skills in their current position. Students in the new program will explore the comprehensive skills required of a paralegal professional, including investigating complex fact patterns, researching the law, and preparing cases for courtroom litigation.
The paralegal studies program is offered in both weekday evening and weekend schedule formats, for working professionals. The inaugural paralegal studies certificate cohort will begin November 5, 2013, and meets Tuesday and Thursday evenings through May 8, 2014. Tuition for the program is $4,995, which includes all course materials and textbooks.
