Sam Stark ’91 has been named chief marketing and community relations officer at Rollins College.
Rollins College announced today that Sam Stark ’91 has been named chief marketing and community relations officer. He will begin his new role July 1.
Stark joined the College in April as associate vice president of strategic partnerships. In his new role, Stark will lead marketing, college relations, and strategic partnerships at the College.
“We are tremendously fortunate to have someone with Sam’s broad experience in marketing and external relations, and to have an alumnus who is so passionate about Rollins, bring his professional acumen to supporting his alma mater,” Rollins President Grant Cornwell said.
Stark came to Rollins from Moxe, an Orlando integrated marketing agency where he was CEO. Prior to Moxe, he held several leadership roles in Central Florida, including president and CEO of the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce and president and CEO of the Central Florida Sports Commission. He was also executive director of the Chicago Sports Commission.
Stark’s community service includes board memberships at Orlando City Soccer Foundation, Winter Park Health Foundation, Athena PowerLink, and Florida Citrus Sports. He has provided leadership to the College over the years as an Alumni Trustee and Alumni Association Board President and as a member of the Anchor Club Executive Committee. He received the Alumni Service Award in 2016.
Stark received a bachelor's degree in political science from Rollins in 1991.
