PHOTOS: Family Weekend 2014

On November 7, more than 250 families arrived on campus for Rollins College’s annual Family Weekend. Parents and family members explored the campus, learned about Rollins’ programs, and enjoyed family activities with their students. Photos by Scott Cook.

The Rollins Improv Players entertained guests with a show centered on the theme of family.

President Emeritus Thaddeus Seymour ’82HAL ’90H met families in Knowles Memorial Chapel for a look back at Rollins' storied history.

Families gathered on The Green for ‘R’ Block Party for a chance to unwind and enjoy the beautiful fall weather.

There was also time to hear from staff and students about opportunities to join student programs and organizations.

Families enjoyed light refreshments before heading off to the next activity.

Students who are participating in the Student-Faculty Collaborative Scholarship program this semester presented some of their research in Mills Memorial Hall.

Students took their family members on personal tours of campus to show them where they're spending their college days.

On Saturday afternoon at the Alfond Pool, Rollins Swimming took on Florida Tech.

At the Alfond Sports Center, Rollins Women's Volleyball also played against Florida Tech.

The Rollins Entertainment Program (REP) hosted Saturday evening's entertainment with magician and hypnotist Craig Karges. Here, Karges is joined by a volunteer from the audience in the Bush Science Center auditorium.
