Rollins welcomes Meghal Parikh as the College’s first director of institutional analytics, a new position in Academic Affairs.
Rollins is delighted to welcome Meghal Parikh as the College’s first director of institutional analytics. In this role, Parikh will analyze and model student progression and learning outcomes and conceptualize and develop dashboards for college performance. He will partner with other Rollins Institutional Research and Institutional Effectiveness leaders, and work with colleagues across campus to coordinate and analyze data to advance Rollins’ mission.
For the past seven years, Parikh has served as a computer systems control specialist in the University of Central Florida’s (UCF) Institutional Knowledge Management group. He holds an undergraduate degree in computer engineering from the University of Mumbai and a master’s degree from UCF in operations research. He’s currently working on a doctoral dissertation from UCF in the area of industrial engineering with a focus on operations research. In addition, he has graduate certificates from UCF in systems engineering, project management, and SAS data mining.
“Meghal is an experienced, collaborative researcher with a deep understanding of data analytics and higher education who will support institution-wide, data-driven improvement efforts,” says Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, Susan Singer.
