Marshall will serve as a voice for the business faculty on academic matters and will oversee re-accreditation for the Crummer Graduate School of Business.
Charles Harwood Professor of Marketing and Strategy Greg Marshall was recently appointed to the newly created position of associate dean for academics at Rollins College’s Crummer Graduate School of Business.
Marshall has significant management and leadership experience both in industry and in higher education, and served as the College’s vice president for strategic marketing during Rollins’ inaugural organization-wide integrated marketing initiative. More recently, he served as academic director for the Crummer Executive DBA program, a role that will be subsumed into the new position.
In this position, Marshall will work with faculty individually and through committees on high priorities, including establishing a Strategic Renewal Committee and a Curriculum Renewal Committee, preparing for Crummer’s next re-accreditation by AACSB, completing Crummer’s responsibilities related to the impending SACS-COC accreditation visit, and spearheading several upcoming faculty searches.
Broadly, the Associate Dean for Academics role will serve as an important voice and advocate for the faculty and for academic matters during meetings and discussions with Crummer’s dean, associate dean for operations and student services, and assistant dean for admissions and marketing. At this time, the position is not a full-time administrative job, and Marshall will continue as a faculty member but with additional responsibilities.
