The Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business was named the No. 1 master’s program in the country for leadership and organizational development. This is the second year in a row the school has attained this ranking. The accolade comes from HR.com’s Leadership Excellence Awards, which honors the world’s top leadership programs.
For more than 30 years, Leadership Excellence provided real solutions to the challenges leaders face every day. Under the guidance of Ken Shelton, Stephen R. Covey, Ken Blanchard, and Charles Garfield, their idea was to redefine how businesses were conducted, how people were motivated, and how success was achieved. HR.com and Leadership Excellence joined forces in May 2013 to continue providing world-class leadership development resources and tools–now to a combined audience of over 350,000 individuals and organizations throughout the world.
“We are honored to have earned the No. 1 ranking from Leadership Excellence for the extensive applied learning programming that Crummer offers to our MBA students, business executives, alumni and the community,” said Deborah Crown, dean at the Crummer Graduate School of Business. “Proven leadership ability has become one of the most important skills for success in any industry, which is why we prioritize this valuable asset across our curriculums, taught by the most qualified faculty and professional staff.”
Crummer’s Center for Leadership Development provides in-depth leadership training and experiential programming to foster self-awareness, personal growth, and relationship building. The Center serves Crummer’s Professional MBA students and Early Advantage MBA students, a full-time day program for recent college graduates and career changers.
“Our immersive approach constantly evolves based on best practices from real-world business executives, helping our students and alumni grow into thoughtful and effective leaders in today’s dynamic business environment. We’re proud to have thousands of alumni around the world successfully leading organizations and positively impacting the communities they serve.” said Rob Hebeler, assistant dean of the Crummer Graduate School of Business.
Through the Center for Leadership Development, Crummer MBA students have the chance to complete a Leadership Road Map to complement their curriculum and to expose them to a variety of leadership perspectives through site visits to local businesses, community service programs, and networking events.
In support of a core Leadership class, the Center also offers special programs for those looking to further enhance their leadership development, including:
