On October 13, National Geographic Society fellow Joel Sartore spoke to a packed audience in Knowles Memorial Chapel as part of the Winter Park Institute at Rollins College.

Sartore is a photographer, speaker, author, teacher, and conservationist who actively photographs captive species to promote education and conservation efforts. He’s also the founder of a multi-year documentary project, the Photo Ark, in which he creates intimate portraits of every animal under human care and supports funding for species in critical need of protection.
